Caterpillar Colors

Remember the caterpillar's colors and rebuild them on the empty one.

What you need

  • Printouttemplate on A4
  • Buttonsor pom-poms, caps
  • Crayonsor colored pencils

How to play

  1. Show a colored caterpillar for 5 seconds, then cover it.
  2. Your child rebuilds the colors on the empty caterpillar with buttons, caps or crayons.
  3. Always start at the head.
  4. Compare together and celebrate every correct segment.

Make it harder

  • Remember two caterpillars in a row.
  • Say the colors backwards.
  • Give each color a movement, for example pink means clap and green means stomp, then play the caterpillar as a movement sequence.
